Our Courses

Are you looking for a new career, a better job or perhaps to learn new skills? Each year we successfully train tens of thousands of students throughout Aotearoa-New Zealand. We cater for people of all ages and backgrounds.

We are the largest tertiary institution in the country, with a wide range of courses to choose from. We encourage our student (students) to staircase from lower level to higher level courses to further their skills and knowledge in the subject. For example, if you successfully complete a course such as the Certificate in Te Ara Reo Māori (Level 2), you will have the skills for further study in Te Reo at Levels 3 and 4. From there, you could get a job working in the Māori health sector, in Kohanga Reo, or being a translator.

Or, let’s say you gain Waiora – Foundation Certificate in Rongoa (Level 4). You could then progress to the Bachelor of Iwi Environmental Management (Levels 5,6, and 7), and open up many exciting career opportunities. You might even decide to continue your studies at postgraduate level.
