Manukau Campus
Manukau Campus offers individuals, whānau and community groups the opportunity to learn in an inclusive, vibrant and exciting kaupapa Māori environment. Most of our staff are of Māori, Indian, Samoan, Tongan and Asian descent, so we can communicate with and teach our diverse student effectively. Our philosophy is one of unity, understanding and encouragement for people from all cultural, social and spiritual backgrounds. Together, we aim to make this region culturally, socially and economically viable so that we all have a chance to become productive and respected members of Māngere and of Aotearoa.
Located at 15 Canning Crescent, Māngere, Manukau Campus is close to a shopping mall, bus services, a recreation centre, WINZ, the Housing New Zealand Corporation, the Manukau City Council, the Public Library, and medical and pharmacy facilities.
On campus is a cafeteria (accommodating up to 200 people), a lecture room (accommodating up to 100 people), eleven spacious classrooms, a large foyer to showcase a variety of arts and exhibitions, a large interior space to host graduations, conferences and exhibitions and there is ample car parking, with evening security staff on hand.
Whangarei Campus
Tai Tokerau is a vibrant, happy place, where you can study in a comfortable and relaxed whānau environment. Our staff are encouraging, engaging and enthusiastic – and passionate about providing a positive learning experience for all ages, ethnicities and levels of ability. We are open to innovation and new developments in education and our staff are encouraged to participate in ongoing professional development. We also accommodate various learning styles: visual, audio and kinaesthetic.
You can study a range of subjects including Business, Computing, Social Services, Te Ara Reo Māori and Te Arataki Manu Kōrero; also, Mahi Ora and Mauri Ora can be studied from home with the support of a Kaiako.
Our official address is 129 Cameron Street, Whangarei, but the actual site is on the corner of Albert and Cameron Streets, with entry from Cameron Street. You’ll find us on Level 2, above New Zealand Safety. There is a computer lab, several classrooms, a library and open-plan lunch room on site. There are also lunch bars on either side of the building. Bus services are available nearby, but we are only 500 metres away from the city centre and all that it has to offer.
