The key objective of Māori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) is to increase access for Māori and Pasifika learners to vocational training and pre-employment training. This enables learners to develop the skills for sustainable employment and achieve better employment outcomes.

Who is eligible?

Māori and Pasifika learners aged between 16 to 40 years

How much does it cost?

Eligible tauira can attend this course fees free.

  • using and maintaining traffic control equipment and machinery
  • leadership values and skills in work and team environments
  • on-site Health and Safety
  • job application skills

You'll know how to:

  • work on a civil construction site
  • keep yourself and others safe

  • apply and interview for infrastructure jobs
