Competition Terms and Conditions
 
Instructions on how to enter this competition form part of the conditions of entry. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entrants must supply full contact details as required and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize. Each entrant releases Facebook from any and all liability in relation to this competition. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Mailchimp
 
Competition prizes
 
There will be five (5) winners who will each receive one (1) x 3-day double pass to WOMAD held in New Plymouth, 15-17 March 2019. Find out more about the event here: https://www.womad.co.nz
 
Each winner will need to make their own way to the event. The prize does not include overnight accommodation, transport, food or any other related costs or expenses.
Competition period: The competition runs from 9.00am Monday 4 March 2019 until 5.00pm Friday 8 March 2019.
 
How to enter
 
To enter the competition, entrants must complete the competition form - during the competition period - telling us, in 30 words or less, ‘your favorite Māori kupu (word) or whakatauki (saying)’. One entry per individual.
 
Who can enter the competition
 
Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over. Employees and contractors of WOMAD and Te Wānanga o Aotearoa are not eligible to enter the competition.
 
Notification of winners
 
Winners of all prizes will also be notified via email by 12:00pm Monday 11 March.
 
Once notified, winners must accept the prize within 72 hours.
 
If a winner does not accept the prize within 72 hours of being notified by Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, the prize will be deemed to be forfeited and Te Wānanga o Aotearoa reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible runner up winner/s.
 
The prize will be issued via email to the winners. Winners will be responsible for printing the tickets for entry into WOMAD. Winners must have a valid email address in order to receive the prize.
 
No exchanges / cash alternatives
 
The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or altered in any way. There will be no cash alternatives. The ticket is non-transferable and must not be resold. 
 
No liability
 
WOMAD and Te Wānanga o Aotearoa are not liable for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any entrant as a result of entering the competition or as a result of accepting the prize.
To the extent that Te Wānanga o Aotearoa cannot disclaim its liability, its liability will be limited to the value of the prize awarded to the winner.
 
Use of Personal Information
 
 Personal information submitted by all entrants (including name, email address and competition comment) will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this competition. Entrants’ names and competition comments may also be used for publicity purposes relating to the competition. Te Wānanga o Aotearoa may also use prize winners' names, competition comment and photographs for the purposes of conducting promotions and related media activity relating to the competition.
 
You may contact Te Wānanga o Aotearoa by email at legal@twoa.ac.nz to request access to, or correction of, any of your collected personal information that is held by Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. If you do not provide accurate and up-to-date personal information, Te Wānanga o Aotearoa may determine that you are not eligible to win the prize.
