In late 2009 Te Wānanga o Aotearoa delivered its first STAR courses to tauira from the Tainui rohe. Steady growth during 2010 afforded further STAR delivery in Tamaki (Manukau) and Whirikōka (Gisborne) rohe. Today we are pleased to announce that our STAR provision now extends beyond the Bay of Plenty and into Hawkes Bay, Manawatu and the South Island.

We commit to being responsive to your needs, and our STAR delivery aims to reflect this.  We commit to providing you with a quality learning experience that will support your NCEA achievement while giving you a unique perspective to learning at tertiary level. All our courses aim to add value to your life and recognise the knowledge you may already have within you.  See your STAR coordinator if you wish to participate in one of our courses, or contact us directly.

To best enable Te Wānanga o Aotearoa to respond to your needs we will endeavour to arrange hui in each of our rohe on a annual basis.  These hui provide us with an opportunity to inform secondary schools of upcoming youth initiatives within your region, respond to queries or concerns and most importantly to be informed first hand of the needs of secondary schools.
