The 2017 Tauira Experience Survey gets underway today, with all current tauira being sent an email inviting them to take part and provide feedback on the services Te Wānanga o Aotearoa provides to support them and their studies.

Every year tauira tell us that you – our kaiako, kaitiaki and kaimahi – are the main reason they mostly enjoy their experiences with us.

Take the time to encourage your tauira to check their email and complete our online survey. All tauira will be sent the link this evening.

Tauira who complete the survey before 5pm on Wednesday, June 28 go in the draw to win one of five $100 Prezzy Cards.  Winners will be contacted on Friday, June 30.
All feedback in the survey is treated with strict confidence.

Te Wānanga o Aotearoa has made a commitment to listen to the voices of tauira so you can be assured that action is taken as a direct result of the information gathered from this survey.

Last year tauira told us they were 97.5% likely to recommend us to others – an increase from 96% in 2015. That's a fantastic endorsement and a credit to you all.

Tauira also told us we needed to improve

  • our enrolment process<
  • the way we communicate with them (especially during the enrolment process)
  • timeliness of Student ID production and delivery

Tumuratonga Keri Milne-Ihimaera says good progress has been made this year to improve these experiences for current and future tauira.

"It’s essential that we get as many tauira as possible to share their experiences with us through this survey, and that we continue to reflect their views in our decision making. Every little bit helps to inform our priorities and make our tauira experience stronger year on year."
