You don't necessarily need a formal teaching qualification to apply.

For the right candidate in certain areas of mātauranga, we will provide training for any teaching skills needed. Your skills and knowledge can make a difference in the lives of tauira.

Kaupapa Māori

As a proudly Indigenous tertiary educator, ‘whānau transformation through education’ is our vision. We have a strong presence within cultural events, with special leave available for kaimahi involved in certain cultural or sporting kaupapa.

No matter how important our mahi, whānau comes first. All permanent employees receive four extra leave days each year to celebrate Matariki and the Christmas/New Year season.
