Our local story
Te Wānanga o Aotearoa has been part of the Whanganui community since the early 2000's. Our kaupapa is built on partnership, trust, and a shared vision for education.
We honour our relationship with Te Puna Mātauranga o Whanganui, the mandated iwi education authority. Together, we work to uplift the aspirations of Whanganui iwi - supporting te reo Māori, leadership, and wider access to education for whānau across the region.
Our campus, at 68 Victoria Avenue, is the hub of our mahi in Whanganui. It’s a place where tauira are welcomed with manaaki, and where pathways to learning are open to whānau from all walks of life.
