Kaupapa here me ngā ture
Policies and regulations
Our policies set out how we keep our learning environment safe, supportive, and consistent.
Te haumarutanga me te tautiakitanga o te katoa
Keeping everyone safe and supported
At Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, we have policies and procedures that guide how we work, support, and care for our tauira, kaimahi, and communities.
These policies make sure everything we do is fair, transparent, and aligned with our values of:
Te Aroha
Te Whakapono
Ngā Ture
Kotahitanga
They help protect your rights as a learner and explain what you can expect from us – and what we ask from you.
They are reviewed regularly to stay up to date with legislation and the needs of our tauira and communities.
You can read or download the full policies and procedures at any time via Te Matakā (our student portal). Or view the selected public documents below:

We also encourage feedback. If you have thoughts about how our policies affect tauira, you can share them through your Tauira Representative or the Tauira Support team.
