Our local story
Te Wānanga o Aotearoa has been part of the Heretaunga and Ahuriri communities since the early 2000's. In 2017, we opened our campus on Hastings Street South, a modern and welcoming place designed to support tauira and their whānau on their learning journey.
Our presence in this rohe reflects our commitment to tauira success and whānau transformation through education. Every programme, every space, and every conversation is about creating pathways for growth and opportunity.
This campus is a gathering place where learning, culture, and community meet. We honour the local connections that ground us here in Heretaunga, while opening doors for future generations to thrive.
