Our local story
Te Kūiti, the heart of Ngāti Maniapoto, is home to our Maniapoto campus. Named in honour of a revered tupuna, this campus stands as a tribute to legacy and leadership. It is a place where mātauranga lives, and where tauira are supported to thrive while staying grounded in tikanga.
We acknowledge Ngāti Maniapoto as mana whenua, whose presence and guardianship give strength and mana to this whenua. The name reflects whakapapa, resilience, and care for future generations.
Here, learning is not just about gaining qualifications, it is about finding belonging, strengthening identity, and opening doors for whānau transformation.
