Sharing your feedback

At Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, every tauira voice is a taonga.

Sharing your experiences, whakaaro, and feedback helps us grow and improve together. It strengthens our learning environments and supports the wellbeing of all tauira and kaimahi. This reflects our commitment to:

  • Te Aroha – treating everyone with care and respect

  • Ngā Ture – acting with fairness and integrity

  • Te Whakapono – building trust and confidence in our processes

  • Kotahitanga – working together to improve outcomes for all

We are committed to ensuring all tauira feel safe, respected, and supported throughout their learning journey.

If something isn’t right, you can submit a concern using our online form. This helps us understand what has happened and respond in a way that supports you.

Resolving concerns early

He huarahi pai ake

Many concerns can be resolved quickly and respectfully through early kōrero.

If you feel comfortable, you may start with:

  • Your kaiako

  • A Tauira Support Advisor or another trusted kaimahi

  • Your class Tauira Representative

Early conversations help:

  • Build understanding

  • Maintain relationships

  • Resolve issues before they grow larger

If you prefer not to speak directly, or the concern is not resolved, you can submit it formally.

What happens after I submit a concern?

When you submit a concern:

  • It is reviewed and directed to the appropriate team

  • A Resolution Partner is assigned to support you

  • You may be contacted to better understand your experience

  • Steps are taken to support resolution

We aim to respond in a way that reflects:

  • Ngā Ture – fairness and transparency

  • Te Aroha – care for all involved

  • Te Whakapono – trust in the process

If a concern is serious, it may be escalated to a formal complaint process to ensure it is handled appropriately.
