Entry criteria
You can enrol if you:
Are 16 years or older
Are a NZ citizen or resident (includes Cook Islands, Niue, Tokelau) or Australian citizen/permanent resident
Currently reside in New Zealand
Have a relevant undergraduate degree (e.g. Bachelor of Bicultural Social Work)
Have at least two years’ professional practice with two professional references and two kaitiaki letters of support
Candidates who have not gained a relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification may submit evidence of current professional practice and/or kaitiaki practice in a portfolio, as well as:
Participate in a professional conversation to assess your suitability to enter the qualification
Provide evidence of at least five years relevant professional practice

You’ll study through a mix of weekly classroom sessions, noho, and wānanga. Expect reflective hui, applied projects, and rangahau that builds towards a final presentation of your bicultural supervision framework.
