A group of 25 successful Aotearoa Scholarship Trust recipients will be announced and presented scholarships and awards at Mangakotukutuku on Monday.

The 2015 ATS scholarships and awards ceremony on July 6 will celebrate the endeavours of tauira from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and other institutes of learning who are seeking to achieve their fullest potential through their education journeys.

The special event also pays tribute, through the presentation of memorial awards, to Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and Te Ao Māori legends - Dr Diggeress Te Kanawa, Mike Watson, Rewi Panapa and Tane Taylor.

AST was established in 2010 and since 2011 has presented a combined total value of $427,000 to 86 individuals and groups.
